Staci Woo
Upon meeting Staci Woo frenzied designer is not the first thing that pops into your mind. The impression instead is one of calm. Yes, calm. Rather than a fury of lipstick and heels, Staci is a woman that could explain algebra to a six-year old. Her motions are fluid, her expressions sincere, and her design space a quiet oasis of creativity.
This native Northern California gal found her niche by creating a lifestyle brand that not only combines the allure of the beach and the comfort of lounge but is also unapologetically chic.
Staci started her career working for a local Santa Barbara swimwear company and moved upwards landing a job working for two industry legends: Retail Guru Ron Herman and the Godfather of Denim Adriano Goldschmied. From there she humbly began crafting her own line ‘woobags’ which quickly expanded into an intimates line, ‘underwoo’.
Her coveted California lifestyle brand includes garment dyed jersey blouses, indian ikat dresses, whisper soft gauze kaftans, lux terry sweats and ‘little woo’. Woo's signature is the subtle detail of lace trims mixed with soft jerseys, pointelle mixed with a gorgeous woven print or textured voile. Every piece you pick up from Woo emanates effortless style and a carefree beach lifestyle.
Not only can you find Woo amongst your favorite boutiques & specialty stores, You can also shop Woo exclusives and other curated design treasures at the Woo Souvenir Shop & Design HQ in downtown Los Angeles burgeoning Arts District. You might also sneak a peek of the Headquarters and Design Studio located behind the Souvenir Shop.
Woo has graced the pages of magazines like US weekly, Harpers Baazar, In Style, Los Angeles Magazine, Lucky, Shape, and WWD and can be spotted on today most popular TV shows. Woo is also a favorite among celebrities (and their kids) such as Jessica Biel, Kerry Washington, Sarah Michelle Gellar, Kate Hudson, Jennifer Aniston, Jessica Simpson, Nicole Ritchie, and Jennifer Garner.
